Meet Our Team
Receptionist/Dental Hygiene Coordinator
Vinetta is part of our front desk team and spends much of her time helping patients plan and coordinate their dental hygiene care. If you call to schedule a new patient appointment or a recare visit with your hygienist, it is Vinetta who will be there on the phone to help you through the process. Vinetta comes to us with 6 years experience in the dental field and a background in dental assisting and front desk operations. When she is not working, Vinetta enjoys spending time with her husband and their young son.
Loren comes to us with 10 years experience in the dental field. She will be one of the first faces you see when visiting the office and she strives to make the patients’ experience in the office as memorable and positive as possible. Loren has a passion for learning and bettering herself and is always ready to help with anything you need when you are in the office!
In her spare time, Loren enjoys spending time with her fiancé and daughter, who is an avid softball player, and their dog Willow. Loren also enjoys all sports, especially Boston sports teams, the beach, music, shopping, exercising, and art.
Arlene graduated from the Southeastern Technical Institute in 2013 and recently became certified through the Dental Assisting National Board.
Arlene has had a passion for dentistry since she was a child and always looks forward to expanding her knowledge in the field, whether it’s through continuing education courses or the wisdom of her team members. Outside of the office, Arlene enjoys spending time with her son and family. Some of her hobbies include reading, cooking, and photography.
Angela is one of Dr. Burt’s caring and compassionate dental assistants. Angela graduated from the Lincoln Technical Institute in 2012 and recently became certified through the Dental Assisting National Board. Her desire to become an assistant was inspired by her own fears of dentistry and she is passionate about helping patients feel at ease while receiving dental care.
When she is not at work, Angela devotes her time to her husband and their two children, enjoying the outdoors and spending time as a family.
Hayley has been with us since 2011, after volunteering at a Giving Smiles Charity event. Hayley has received her title of Certified Dental Assistant through the National Dental Assisting Board and is highly skilled in all aspects of assisting. Hayley grew up around dentistry, as her mom has worked in the dental field for years. She says her mom always loved what she did and made dentistry sound like such a fun and rewarding career. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Hayley too, loves dentistry, especially anything related to sedation and oral surgery.
Outside of the dental office, Hayley enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and dog, Leo. She is also an avid sports fan, and loves the beach, shopping, and snowboarding.
Marlene is a Certified Dental Assistant and has been with South Shore Dentistry for many years now. Marlene loves assisting but she is also a very talented technician and can often be found in the practice’s onsite lab, fine tuning crowns and appliances for South Shore Dentistry’s patients. As the lead assistant for our Six Month Smiles program, Marlene loves watching how the short-term orthodontics program can make significant changes to a patient’s smile, however, she loves their reaction to the finished product even more! When not at work, Marlene enjoys spending time with her husband and their twin boys.
Jenna graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Bristol Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Science in 2014. Jenna brings a friendly smile and a positive attitude to South Shore Dentistry and says her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is educating her patients on the importance of the oral-systemic health connection. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
Pam graduated from Mount Ida College in 2005 with a degree in dental hygiene and recently became certified in Laser Dentistry. Pam comes to the office everyday with positive energy and she will always greet you with a smile. Her passion is education, navigating individual treatment needs, and building strong relationships with her patients. She is self-motivated, always a team player, and loves being a part of a professional dental team that provides exceptional dental care. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, family and friends. She also enjoys music, crafts, and all things outdoors!
Patient Care Specialist/Dental Hygienist
Since graduating Northeastern University and Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene, Bev has continued her passion for dentistry in many ways. While she has been our Hygiene Team leader for over 14 years, she also travels the country educating/consulting other dental teams in their offices.
As our Patient Care Specialist, Bev takes great pride in caring for our new patients through a comfortable but comprehensive first visit. During this time, she works closely with Dr. Burt to carefully develop a treatment plan that best fits both the patients’ wants and needs.
When not working, Bev enjoys traveling, beaches, and spending time with her family.
